SWHPN Presenter Self-Reflection Tool

Promoting inclusive, thoughtful and impactful education in hospice and palliative care

ABOUT THIS TOOL

Reflect, refine, inspire

This self-reflection tool, adapted with permission from the UCSF School of Medicine Anti-Oppression Curriculum Initiative (AOCI), is designed to guide educators and presenters in integrating anti-oppressive frameworks into their sessions. By reflecting on key areas of inclusivity, equity and accessibility, presenters can create a more impactful and supportive learning experience for all participants.

SUGGESTED USE

Your go-to guide for thoughtful presentations

This tool is here to support you each time you plan a presentation. We encourage presenters to revisit these reflections regularly, whether preparing for in-person sessions, virtual workshops, or recorded webinars. Each review can deepen your engagement with the material and help ensure a welcoming, thoughtful approach to presenting content.

If you have any questions about this tool, would like clarification, or want to discuss your reflections with a supportive colleague, the SWHPN Education Committee is available for consultation.
