On Thursday, May 28th, join us for a special panel discussion on Lessons Learned from Previous Pandemics and Crises: How Can They Help us Manage the Pandemic Response Today?

Moderated by Myra Glajchen, DSW, Director of Medical Education at the MJHS Institute for Innovation in Palliative Care, this panel will explore the interventions, policies, and lessons learned from both the AIDS and 9/11 crises in the United States.

The Rev. George Handzo, APBCC, CSSBB, Director of Health Services Research at the HealthCare Chaplaincy Network and Grace Christ, PhD, Immediate Past Chair of SWHPN and Professor Emerita of Social Work at Columbia University will join as panelists.

After the panel, participants will be able to join our interactive discussion, where they can ask questions and add to the discussion. Open to both SWHPN Members and nonmembers. Registration is required.
