HAPC Social Work Open Discussion | Fall 2021 Series
Monday, October 25, 2021, 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM EST
Category: Meetings
SWHPN is once again providing biweekly calls, open to all disciplines, to support the hospice and palliative care community as they continue to respond to COVID and emerging variants. Social Work Palliative Care and Hospice Network (SWHPN) social workers will host biweekly virtual chat rooms throughout Fall 2021 for any social worker as well as any hospice and palliative care professional who wishes to join us. These discussions will be focused on being safe places for clinicians to find renewal, suggestions, support, and connection. We'll discuss grief and bereavement needs of our clients; how we can continue to provide support to our patients and their families; and how the hospice and palliative care community can support those working on the frontlines, as well as each other, with grief and loss on a collective level. The October 25th discussion will be facilitated by Caitlin Scanlon, MSW, LCSW, Pediatric Palliative Care Social Worker at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. Attendance is free. Please register to receive a reminder when the chat room is open. REGISTER FOR OPEN DISCUSSIONSContact: [email protected] |
