Join the Social Work Hospice and Palliative Care Network (SWHPN) and the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association (HPNA) for a second joint session with Brian Mistler, PhD, clinical psychologist and President of ResolutionCare Network, in our series addressing suicide risk on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. EDT.

This webinar will focus on suicidal ambivalence as a core element in preventable suicide while contrasting elements of suicidality with medical aid in dying. Dr. Mistler incorporates the empirically based risk/protective factors of The Step Theory model for suicide death risk with advanced investigation of risk analysis over time. The presentation will conclude with an extended opportunity for learner Q and A engagement with Dr. Mistler.

After attending this session, participants will be able to:
