GetInvolved!Current Research Studies:The Meaning-Making Experiences of Peer-Inmate End-of-Life Care Volunteers and AdvocatesIRB ProtocolWhat is the purpose of this study? I am asking individuals who advocate for compassionate end-of-life care for incarcerated individuals about how these experiences have offered meaning and purpose. I am also hoping to discover any barriers/challenges that individuals encounter throughout their time in advocating for (or delivering) essential care for dying individuals. I ask you to provide your answers in an individual interview by Zoom or phone. The duration of these interviews will be 45-90 minutes. Your participation is voluntary and you may quit the study at any time. Questions will address your role as an advocate, interactions with team members and dying incarcerated individuals, personal challenges and triumphs, as well as how you find meaning and purpose in your work.
