AAHPM has forwarded to SWHPN a draft proposal for palliative care payment reforms and we are being provided an opportunity to provide comments before April 24th. SWHPN wants to be certain that the proposal explicitly includes a mechanism to financially sustain the functions of palliative social work so social work isn't forever reliant on grants, donations, and the support of doctors to include us in their models. In order for SWHPN to do so, we need to insure that the projected costs for social workers providing palliative care services is accurate, and you can help SWHPN do so.
What SWHPN needs from you is information regarding your salaries, years of experience, licensing, caseload, etc. Below is a link to an anonymous very brief survey that contains only 11 questions.
SWHPN has extended the deadline for this survey to midnight EST on Friday, May 12th.
Thank you for your assistance with this important project!
